    4.5 Hot Stars!

WOW! This book totally exceeded my expectations. Holy Hotness wrapped in a bow. The Deep End delves into the world of BDSM, but with the twist that it is a Domme, Alpha/Sub character setting. This was my second book with this scenario and by far the best. I wasn’t sure how I was going to feel about it, but was overwhelmed with my love of the story. I found myself enthralled in Amelie and Olivier’s tale. Kristen Ashley paints a very detailed world for her readers. It was like standing behind a two-way mirror watching this story unfold. I almost felt like a voyeur (very fitting for this book). Olivier, oh how I wish that men like you existed. I loved this character so much. His personality, his demeanor. He is it for me. I’m head over heels for a fictional character and I don’t care who knows it. The only thing I would have liked to see different is the way the males are written. Their speech was choppy, sort of caveman like. I found myself rereading sentences. It wasn’t enough to detour my love for Olivier, that’s for sure. Ladies, you need to read The Deep End. I’m going to patiently wait for the next installment in this series.

    The deep end

It took some time to get into this book, because it's really, really differtent from any Kristen Ashley's books I've read (and that's like most of them). But as usual she just sucks (hey, hey) you into the story. Great new storyline if you are into erotica a must read....

    The Deep End

Excellent contemporary erotic femdom romance that is intense, emotional and realistic. Worth a read. Olly and Leigh are two people that click at the private club but each have to confront issues from their past.

    Almost good

I thought the story was interesting and I enjoyed reading about a female dominant for a change. What I didn't like was the style of writing. It felt like the guy couldn't hardly say a grammatically correct sentence or one without the f word. I get he is a beast for the woman, but he didn't have to be one for the readers too. The other thing is a detail, but I hated it when an author casts a main character as French and can't get their few French words right. No "e" to "mon grand" please, otherwise your adjective is feminine.
