    LOVE, LOVE, LOVE THIS BOOK

I am LOVE, LOVE, LOVING the new Stephanie Rowe/SA BAYNE. Her energy, her attention to detail, but mostly that she has almost “switched sides” - there is a lot more attention to the one thing I love most - a strong female protagonist. I unapologetically have a “type” of book I like, and the “new” Stephanie Rowe/ SA Bayne is it. If I had even a small complaint, it would be that her new books seem more like stories, and too short, but that is only if I am digging deep. In this book, Ellie is on the run from her parents, who are both Demi-Gods. This is where I wish we had more story - I wanted to know more about her past and her parents. She gets recruited by the “one and only” Van Helsing family (Anyone besides me picturing Hugh Jackman here? Bc he is definitely on the top of my “IT” guy list), along with Jack, with demon in his background, to do the impossible, (which I won’t give more, here) and kill really, really, really bad entities. Unfortunately, she doesn’t have any powers, and he doesn’t want to embrace his powers, and they have to figure things out, without much guidance. This book is very fast-paced, and for ANYONE AND EVERYONE who enjoys a good book that is full of laughs, and, believe it or not, a sense of normalcy. Ellie has the kind of thoughts that all of us women have, whether we admit it or not, and that is what I appreciate most about this new side of Stephanie Rowe.

Interesting 1st book to a new series

This first book in the new series - Magical Elite Series is a very interesting read. Even though it is not a long read S.A. Bayne has given us a story that is well developped if not a little quirky and you can`t help yourself but to continue reading to find out the ending. I would recommend this series if you are looking for something a little different amongst the same oh, same oh.....I can`t wait to read read the next book of the series. I voluntarily read an reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

    Fun, page-turning novella!

I just finished this novella, and I love being back in this author’s fun worlds. Ellie, Jack, and Tomas were such interesting characters, and this peak into their world just leaves me wanting more. Yes, this was a novella and there wasn’t much time to dip into this world to a large degree. However, this author’s great storytelling made me feel so much for the characters that I want to learn even more. I especially want to learn more about Tomas as we didn’t see him as much. This was a fun novella! So, bring on the next book! I highly recommend this novella and was provided the e-book which I voluntarily reviewed.

wonderful start to a new series

Take one daughter of 2 Demigods who has no magical power and a half demon widower trying to protect his daughter throw in a Crime fighting organisation headed up by Thomas Van Helsing who makes them an offer they cannot refuse to join the organisation as crime fighters.. and you have the start of a great new series from Stephanie a long time coming but well worth it... Ellie is trying to escape the assassins that her parents have sent after her to kill her !! And try and find her sister to protect her... Jack is just trying to be a good father while avoiding his demon father . Ellie's super weapon is sandpaper!! which she is not very impressed with as the two meet and battle with a killer the electricity between the two is hot!! Ellie's sassy sense of humour is hilarious and has you laughing out loud although it was short by Stephanie's standards it was well worth the read as it lays the foundation for the Magic Elite series... Well done Stephanie good to see you back

Looking forward to what happens next

I was not sure for a little where the story was going. I was hooked right away into Ellie's plight. However, the ending scene of Ellie's choice felt a little confusing for me. And then it quickly changed the scene to Jack's situation. I think my unease in the story came with Thomas. Not really getting a feel for liking him or understanding him better. Once I got rolling, the story was great. The were only a couple of areas that slowed me down. I certainly did not expect the ending twists. I am looking foward to seeing more of this duo and definitely Thomas' story.
