The Dragon Guardian by Jessie Donovan

5 Stars  ☆☆☆☆☆ Title:  The Dragon Guardian Lochguard Highland Dragons #2 Author:  Jessie Donovan Reviewer: (Ingrid)    Stephanie Jordan #Paranormal   #Dragonshifters ●○•°●○•°●○•°●○•°●○•°●○•°●○•°●○•°●○•° So we have the other half of the McKenzie twins, Ms. Donovan really out did herself this time, could be the redish-orange hair she loves. You could tell by the time she put into this book the love she has for the twins.  With our characters from Stonefire  and Lochguard we could have had a big party it was great to see Arabella and then my Golden Dragon Finn and the soon to be triplets. Fergus MacKenzie a Black Dragon Shifter sat on the mountain and watch this pregnant lady for several weeks. One day he was watching her when she bent over and grabs her stomach , so he flew right away to go see if he can help her he rushes up to her in his human form naked. Gina MacDonald knew about Dragon Shifters, she should that why she's ran from the USA to Scotland, he just couldn't find her. All he wanted was her baby from the very beginning he lied and promised till she was pregnant. I was gifted this ARC for an honest and truthful review.

    Well written

I enjoyed this book, I realize there are more in the series and can’t wait to read the. I was hoping for a little more drama but no matter, I would still recommend this boo.

    The Guardian Dragon

Once again Jessie Donovan has done it. She has captured my heart with her characters. She tempted us with a peek at Gina, a very pregnant human, alone near a lock (lake) Fergus visited when he needed to think and be alone. The feisty little human railed at him and he fought a chuckle at her bravery. A book or two later and she provided us Gina and Fergus' story. If you want to know why we die hard fans were so anxious for this story read the story of his twin and mate. Drawn to the area and watching over the lass, he sees her grab her middle and he is on it. Not so romantic maybe, but a touching beginning to a love story you will not forget. He and his dragon soon know she means more than she is willing to admit. And with her history with dragonmen who could blame her. Still, alone and having a dragon baby is not going to happen. If that was the only problem, it would come with other associated issues, but the father and his clan present even more danger. Will Fergus' clan help her with the baby and the enemy clan? There will be steam, family mischief, loyalty, clan safety, and so much more. Emotions, reader and story characters, will run the race of high to low and everything in between. Tears, joy, laughter, possessiveness, fear, and on and on. Don't wait for this one. Pre order, or make sure you order day one. The sooner it is in your hands, or reader, the sooner you can experience the great, fun, touching read. I was provided an ARC for an honest review.

    The Dragon Guardian

Pregnant and on the run, Gina MacDonald will do anything to protect her unborn child but despite her determination to stay away from all dragon-shifter males, Fergus’ touch helps ease her tension and sets her skin on fire in this splendid paranormal romance. In order to protect his clan, Fergus has been watching the red-headed American but when he gets close he finds that both man and beast want her more than anything in their lives and the reader can’t help but get caught up in the passion and emotional turmoil that flows from the pages as Fergus and Gina try find a happy ending. These strong captivating characters grab reader’s by the hand, draw them into their story and refuse to let go while they turn their hearts upside down with the emotional side of thing, heat up their desires on the passion side of things and put fireworks on display on the romance side of things – another words a relationship building into a spectacular romance in this fast paced, smooth flowing plot that keeps readers well entertained. Expectation builds as Gina reveals just who she is running from and why which adds to the emotional turmoil of both Gina and Fergus as it brings trouble calling and excitement builds as Lochguard is attacked and Finn scrambles to find a way to protect Gina and the clan with some unexpected twists and surprises along the way to keep everyone on their toes and a quite a few chuckles to brighten the day as the intriguing events ensure that there is never a dull moment while they draw the reader into this exciting story. Jessie Donovan’s done it again, as she has provided another splendid dragon-shifter story that I couldn’t put down and since I get to know the characters more each time and learn more about the conflicts that the dragons face, I get so very excited and caught up in the story that I don’t want to leave.
