    Darkness turned to Light

People are not always what they seem and relatives can sometimes be deadly. The Duke of Rhuddlan has an enemy and he knows who it is but can he stop them? At the start, he is hit by an object in the back of his head and comes off his horse! Where did it come from? Luckily, Miss Olivia Stone and Mrs Davies, tenants of the Duke, came to his rescue and helped him until he could get back home. But Olivia had her own problems. She was being "courted" by a vile man, Sir George, who she was very afraid of and could not get away from. Fearing for her life, she decided to go to Rhuddlan for help and protection. A bold move? Well, she almost had no choice. Then the intrigue and suspense begins!!! Rhuddlan becomes her protector, but as her past comes out, would he still help her? The characters are so well drawn you can feel their emotions and as the plot thickens, so do their ties to each other. I loved Rhuddlan and Olivia, who both needed redemption and was anxious to see how the story ended. I highly recommend this book and hope to go back and read all of the stories in this series!!!

    Villains, secrets and love.

It would be so hard to think that your own family would set out to harm you but that is what Lucas faces. On the other hand, Olivia has some problems herself and there is no easy solution. When events take place that causes Olivia and Lucas to work together the attraction just jumps off the page. I love Mrs. Davies; Nick and Grayson great villains the characters were awesome. In this suspenseful historical romance, you will find intrigue, danger, and love. This well-written piece was so entertaining to read. I was glued to my seat after reading the first page. It has a wonderful ending all secrets do come out but when you have someone to share with things can get better. I highly recommend this one. I highly recommend. I did receive a free copy of this book and voluntarily chose to review it.

An attraction that could not be denied

In this suspenseful historical romance, the reader is kept on tenterhooks from the opening pages right through to the last chapter. Both Lucas, Duke of Rhuddlan and Olivia Stone have had their reputations besmirched by unsavoury people who have tried to bend them to their wills. Although their enemies are different, the result has Lucas, Olivia and her loyal friends on the run from potential danger. As they race across the English countryside, faithful dog in tow, the attraction between the Duke of Darkness and Olivia begins to ignite and grow. It is only when Olivia comes into the crosshairs of Lucas' enemies, that he realises the full extent of his feelings for her. The novel is well written, intriguing and romantic and comes to a very satisfactory close. I received a copy of this book as a gift and this is my honest and voluntary review.
