Another perfect novel from Ms DeGioia

Daniel Ashworth, the Earl of Ashworth, inherited his title when his brother was killed in a duel many years ago. He's been hurt and has vowed to never give any woman that power over him again. Gliding through society he takes whatever comes his way while avoiding any emotional attachments. Lady Mary Bridgewater is the toast of London. Many vie for her hand, but she is determined that only the strongest love will ever get her to marry. After Daniel comes to her aid in an ill advised trip to a public house, she's suprised at his anger and immunity to her charms. Mary however can not stop thinking of him. As for Daniel well he cannot for the life of himself understand his intense reaction to the impulsive beauty whenever he's in her company. When his good friend asks for her hand, Daniel finally realizes he wants her for himself. Mary herself is in love with Daniel already, but can he rid himself of the leftover fears that still linger. Danger stalks Daniel and only Mary and her love can save him. Can and will Daniel give Mary his heart? Or will he allow the distrust of his past to ruin their chance at true happiness? Once again the chemistry that all of the Bridgewater brides share with their husbands is astounding. Wow it looks like JoMarie DeGioia has managed to do it again and this book is incredible. The way Daniel and Mary went through so much turmoil yet still managed to make their love work is great. This novel is a finely tuned piece of work. My hat goes off to you Ms DeGioia for managing to write another masterpiece. Well done and if I could give this book more then 5 stars I wouldn't hesitate.
