  • As usual a lot of buzz on Goodreads forced me to buy this book and start it immediately even though millions of other books wait on the TBR (ok millions is a slight exaggeration but you get the point). I wasn’t sure what to expect from this new-to-me-author but I found myself intrigued by the blurb and curious as to how the author would be able to sustain a story about 2 people who meet on a bus trip and keep my interest. Well the answer is really quite simple. See J.A. Redmerski has a secret weapon and his name is Andrew Parrish! In my next life when I’m 20 and decide to run away from life and take a road trip by bus, please, please, please let me meet my own Andrew Parrish! I loved him. And I loved him and Camryn together. How he pushed her to explore her boundaries, face her fears and brought love back into her life. They fit together perfectly just like two pieces of a puzzle or a graphic tattoo. What a ride! What a road trip! What an amazing, emotional roller coaster ride! I was totally invested in Camryn and Andrew’s story. Their relationship was fun and flirty, filled with sexual awareness and tension and progressed to smoking hot from there and then oh so much more. I will admit that I spoiled the book for myself. I am not one who EVER reads the end of a book no matter what. I like to explore the natural progression the author leads me on as the reader. So when I intentionally/unintentionally read a spoiler about the end of The Edge of Never I was soooooo upset with myself. I am sure it ruined my emotional connection to the story. I cannot imagine the waterworks streaming from my eyes had I just discovered the ending as the author had intended. As it was I was a mess. Do yourself a favour and read this book but if you truly want to enjoy a gripping and emotional story don’t read any spoilers or skip ahead to the end. Just enjoy the journey along the way.

  • I was not instantly swept away by The Edge of Never. In fact, I kept thinking, "Where is this amazing book everyone keeps raving about?" I was just trying to get through it, struggling to get through it. About halfway through (48% to be exact), the book jumped up and yelled, "Here I am!". Everything from this point on shocked the hell out of me. It was the shock factor that finally won me over. It came out of nowhere in every sense of the word. I spent the whole second half waiting for the bottom to drop out. I finished the last page not being able to think about anything, but Andrew and Camryn.

  • This book was heart wrenching. Camryn starts out very much alone, lost, tormented by what her life has become. She doesn't know who she is or what she wants to be....until she meets Andrew. We are taken on an emotional journey with these two characters who begin as strangers, fall head over heels in love, battle inner demons, and face tragedies. The sense of adventure and excitement enthralls you to the point where you cannot put the book down! I would read this book again in a heartbeat!
