    Thanks for your feedback!

    Excellent resource

This book is an excellent resouce for writers or anyone interested in the general psychology of trauma. It is well structured with a clear introduction and easy to follow layout. The authors use Maslow's hierarchy of needs to detail emotional responses to numerous traumatic events. The book does not have to be read straight through, but can be used as a reference book to get to the topic you need. There are several useful author tools in the appendices. I highly recommend it.

One of the best writing resources

One of the best writing resources I've come across, filled with practical information and examples about creating authentic characters, complete with helpful advice on backstory and reasons for goal, motivation and conflict. If you write fiction, you need this book.
