    The best Israeli writer

The Expelled is a novella, a genre in which Benarroch writes his best prose. This book is about love and the posiibility of reinventing love, look out for the surprising end (Don’t spoil it by reading it before). Benarroch is loving and tender, while, as always giving us a perspective of modern world and the way people live and love in it. It's very different from his more known and Jewish-Moroccan novels, like Lucena and Gates to Tangier, but worth every minute of reading.
