  • A fun and relaxing read

I love reading romantic comedies from the male POV. They are always so much fun :D So it isn't a surprise that I was excited to read this new book by Sandra Marton. And I was definitely not disappointed. It was witty, funny, entertaining and of course I shouldn't forget sexy. And I think this is a great lighthearted read that will make you laugh a lot and brighten your mood whenever you need it. Matthew and Bailey are two great characters and they are perfect for each other. The only problem is that Matthew needs to realise that the perfect woman for him is just under his nose. But of course, that's where all the fun comes from :D The story somewhat reminds me of Cinderella. Bailey is the ugly duckling that hides her beauty under god awful suits and dresses. Instead of an step-monster and nasty step sisters, she has an awful cousin that made her life a living hell while they were growing up. And continues to do it every chance she gets. But that's where Matthew and his sister come in. She is the fairy godmother that reveals Bailey's beauty and Matthew is the prince who saves her and makes all her dreams come true :D In a way the story also reminds me of the Tangled series by Emma Chase. It has the same witty vibe and Matthew is not far behind Drew in the delusional department :D Especially regarding feelings towards their other halves. But as they say, all is well when it ends well. And this story has close to a fairy tale ending so nothing to worry about :D So yes, if you are looking for a fun and relaxing read and you are a fan of the Tangled series, you should definitely check this book out. We all know how fun are well written books from the male POV :D This review was originally posted at Living In Our Own Story Book Blog. I received an ARC of the book in exchange of an honest review.
