    Nice and epic sequel

A solid sequel depicting William’s adventures as a sorcerer, priest, and warrior. Oh, I guess there’s a trap character in there as well, if you’re into that sort of thing......

    A different one

Jumping right into it after volume 1 was a really strange experience. It deviates heavily from what direction I imagined the story would take and by that I can't help but feel that author could be slowly writing himself into the corner. It still is entertaining and the translation is great, but 'diluting' it a bit more and not making it as action packed would probably help, as it keeps the action elements of the first book intact, but doesn't replace the emotional interactions that it had with something of the equal measure.

Character growth was a little forced

A few holes with logic but not bad. The character growth was a little forced in this volume to the point where it was juvenile. It felt like the author could have brought up the MC’s development better. The holes in the logic wasn’t too bad, the character growth lapse was also just a few pages long so it wasn’t too bad. The story is good, but didn’t live up to the first volume. Off to the next volume!
