    Disappointed

After reading so many good reviews, i had higher expectations for this book. I didnt like the ending. The theories about the illness were far more interesting than the truth/ending. I dont feel any closure to explain why so many other girls were acting weird at all. Now that im done i found there were aspects to the plot i didnt find added any depth to the story at all. Spoiler, for example, what was the point of deenie and sean's rendevous? why was i to care? I dont think ill rush to read megan abbott again.

I give it a two out of five!

Very repetitive...I found it very boring....thought would never end! One of the worst I have read in a few years...

    Suspenseful

An unusal mystery that kept me guessing; although I wasn't 100% satisfied with all the revelations in the end, I can see why this thriller made so many reviewers' lists earlier this year. Worth a read if you are a fan of Gillian Flynn's Gone Girl, Sharp Objects and Dark Places, very similar in tone.
