    5 Stars

"The Fisherman's Daughter" is a wonderfully engaging story with plenty of action and suspense. A tender but passionate love story is woven into the main theme. This is a story that keeps the reader figuratively turning the pages. The story takes place in a small village near Seattle, where many men make their living as fishermen. The story centers around Vanessa, whose father is inexplicably missing. Lowell, an LA cop on hiatus, unsure if he wants to continue in his profession, aids Vanessa in her search for her father. The search for Vanessa's father leads them both into danger, but throughout the story, Vanessa and Lowell both come to grips with themselves and each other. They come to realize what is important in their lives and what they mean to each other. This great story deserves 5 stars.

    Suspense and romance

I haven't read any works from this author but will now be checking out her other offerings. This was an engaging read with well-rounded characters - a good mix of suspense and sweet romance that held my interest to the end. Having grown up in the Pacific Northwest, I enjoyed the setting too, of course. Thank you, Ms. Voeller, for an enjoyable afternoon read.

    Adventure in a Beautiful Setting

What a fabulous story! Vanessa Paris returns home when her father goes missing during a fishing trip and runs into her late brother's best friend (and her former crush), Lowell. While the rest of their Pacific Northwest village has pretty much given up hope of finding the old fisherman, the two believe he's still alive. Now, they'll work together to find Eldon Paris, all the while fighting the sparks that flash between them hot and electrifying. With a beautiful backdrop and interesting secondary characters, The Fisherman's Daughter is a terrific read!
