    Beautiful love story

What a beautiful love story. Nate and Abby, two unlikely people that meet and feel the instant attraction between them. This book was so well written. I cried. I laughed. I fell in love with them. The author has a way of describing the surroundings, the people, the town. The story made you want to be in Echo Springs, Colorado. The book had a bit of mystery in it as a side path that blended nicely with the story. There were romantic, almost crash and burn lovemaking scenes, but they were tasteful. I loved this book. I will definitely read more of this author's books!

    I loved Abby and Nate!

I loved this one. It was entertaining, and full of great characters. Abby and Nate made quite the pair. Their first meeting was one of my favorite moments, but I really enjoyed watching their relationship grow throughout the book. I laughed and cried. Rufus was amazing. I adored how Gallagher added in a love story from the past, and tied it to Abby and Nate’s story. It was just really well done. If you are looking for a little extra encouragement to step outside of your comfort zone, I recommend this book. It shows that sometimes, it’s worth taking a risk.

    Delightful & Beguiling

A beguiling, delightful and bewitching tale of romance and new beginnings told with passion and zest. Following on from her Great Aunt’s Evie’s passing and in a bid to escape her parents controlling ways, hoping to steer her life into a direction of her own choosing, Abby Callier has decided to temporarily relocate to her Great Aunt’s old Victorian house in Echo Springs, Colorado. There, she meets Nate Barnes, a charming and extremely sexy Sheriff and neighbour and they both feel an instant, dynamic attraction to one another. They also both think that their lives currently lack completeness or at least that certain something. I loved down-to earth, straightforward, though flawed, Abbey who tended to wear her heart on her sleeve. And kind, good-natured and amiable Nate, who was inclined to be more assured, orderly and methodical. I really appreciated the author, Maggie Mae Gallagher’s easygoing style of writing. With its amusing dialogue there were many hilarious, laugh-out-loud moments, particularly when Nate’s Great Dane, Rufus was around. The sizzle and desire between Abby and Nate kept things hot and spicy as I swiped through the pages on my e-reader and I finished The Fixer Upper in only a few hours! A fantastic, sparkling, steamy read which was well worth the time invested and totally deserves my five stars. I received a complimentary copy of this novel from Maggie Mae Gallagher via Bookfunnel at my own request. This review is my own unbiased opinion.

    She Fixed Him

Nate and Abby are intriguing characters. He likes order and normalcy where as Abby is anything but. She comes into his life like a whirlwind upsetting the apple cart and yet she strikes something in his heart. This delightful story will have you looking for more of these stories with dynamic characters that will have you laughing and waiting for what is going to be the next dramatic episode. Some good parts

What I liked about this book: Abby was wonderfully quirky, I laughed aloud many times. Nate was a dream guy. The sisters were great. The story was interesting. What I didn’t like: It was slow moving, I had to push myself to keep reading. They had a lot of sex but not much else. Abby was not very assertive. She never has time to tell him anything? Nate wasn’t much on emotion, there could have been more about his childhood. Overall this is a good story worth reading if you don’t mind getting bogged down from time to time. I received a free copy of this book and I am voluntarily leaving my honest review.
