  • Great beginning to new series!

The Fugitive, Nichole's first book in her new series, Marshal Law, starts the series with a bang! Lots of action, romance, and a bit of a twist at the end. Raleigh and Bennett, I love as a couple even though there were times I wanted to smack Bennett upside the head. Bennett, the marshal out to get his fugitive, his ex, on the run after being accused of stealing money from her charity. When he finds her and finds out she's pregnant with his child and someone tries to kill her, he agrees to help her prove her innocence. Both are broken from their past and they both have a hard time moving past their feelings for each other and what she's accused of. Once I started reading this book, I found it extremely hard to put down. I am really looking forward to the rest of the series. Disclaimer: I was given an ARC of this book for an honest opinion.

  • Absolutely Spectacular Suspense Romance

An Absolutely Sensational Suspense Romance . I really enjoyed reading The Fugitive . I volunteered to read and review an advanced readers copy . This story is action packed and intriguing from the start and does not slow down till the very end . It's full of betrayal and deceit . It's definitely emotional . Raleigh Wilde is pregnant and running from the FBI . She has been setup for embezzling millions from the Charity she runs . She's captured by Deputy Beckett Foster her ex boyfriend and baby daddy . They soon find themselves fighting for their lives . This is such a fantastic story . I highly recommend taking the time to read .

  • The Fugitive

I received a complimentary copy of this book and I am voluntarily reviewing it. This was a fantastic start to a new series. I couldn't read this fast enough. There were several scenes that were so gut-wrenching that I had to stop and re-read them over and over. The way the plot flowed, it was almost like watching a movie. It was written in a dual POV format. That is a favorite of mine. It helps me to connect to the characters. I could really feel the emotions that Ms. Severn had Raleigh Wilde going through. Beckett Foster is a deputy with the U. S. Marshals. He has been tasked with bringing an escaped fugitive back into the system. That fugitive, a former woman in Beckett's life, Raleigh Wilde. He comes across Raleigh at her aunt's cabin and the race to their HEA is one that was an emotional roller-coaster ride for me. There were wonderful highs but also the lowest of lows. This is a clean read with really no sexy scenes, it was eluded to but nothing else. I so look forward to more of this series.
