    The German Girl

Interesting and informative but tragic as well. So many lives wasted. I found the story rather repetitive and too long. It was difficult to finish.

    Lest we forget

This story of the MS St Louis, through the voices of two twelve-year-old girls, born decades apart, explores the complexity of families, loss, and survival against evil and complacency. Hopefully the characters of Hannah and Ana will remind all readers to advocate for refugees and the marginalized.
