  • The Ghostly Grounds: Murder

One of the best murder mysteries I have read in a long time A fast moving mystery, difficult to put down, well developed plot, interesting characters and a dog named Boo. Highly recommended.

  • Haunted Manor becomes a Bed and Breakfast

Marie is unlucky in her job and her love life. After finding out the "one" had other relationships, she tosses him out, along with her snotty dog grooming job to the wealthy. She has no idea what she is going to do next but at the same time feels free. Her next news is sorrowful but also the answer to her dilemma. Turns out her Aunt June has passed away and left her a mansion with a ocean view. Marie is determined to turn it into a Bread and Breakfast, some of the locals seem to like the idea, despite the rumors of the home being haunted, others in the community think she has lost her bonkers. Oh, did I mention Aunt June also willed her a dog, Boo. Great funny story, I can't wait to see what happens in the next book. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

  • An enjoyable read

The Ghostly Grounds: Murder and Breakfast is the first book in A Canine Casper Cozy Mystery series and is a great start to this new series. I really enjoyed this cozy mystery. The characters are likable and relatable. The storyline is well crafted and engaging, with a relationship wrecked, a haunted inheritance, mystery, suspense, intrigue, and humour (and a cool dog). I am looking forward to reading more books in this series. I read and reviewed this book with no obligation.
