    The girl in the letter

Wow! I couldnt put this down! This was a fictional account based on facts about how unwed mothers and their children were treated in what we in Canada used to call "homes for unwed mothers". I shed many tears knowing that many of the scenarios written about no doubt took place. An amazing inciteful story!

    The Girl in the Letter

A very good book. Brilliantly plotted and very sad at times you’ll remember this story for a long time.

    The Girl in the Letter

Absolutely amazing , I did know about the Magdalene stories in Ireland but I had no idea it was happening in England . The nuns were cruel , should have all be jailed for life , unbelievable and good for Kitty , right behind her there , a great woman in my opinion . You want to know what happened in these terrible places ? You should def read this book .

    Inspired hot topic conversations

I could hardly put it down. I loved the parallel story writing style. Has inspired hot topic conversations amongst my girlfriends and myself.
