    The Glass Castle

Having been abused as a child and having knowledge of the abuse a relative is going through I understand the pain and frustration these children endured. This book shows how resourceful children can be. Good read.

I loved it. Such a heartbreaking real life story. I was so moved by how well the children moved on from dysfunctional parents

    The Glass Castle

Good read made me realize that there are alot of people out there who didnt have the same privallages I did. My family wast rich, but we never had to worry about a roof over our head or scrounge through a garbage can for our next meal.

Reading this story made me shake my heads at times......I will never understand why parents choose to starve their children, make them freeze in the winter and go without basic necesities all the while sitting on a fortune..........my mouth literally dropped at the end of this story......to learn what these parents put their children through is remarkable!!!! Cudo's to the writer for chosing a better life for herself and making it on her own!
