    Tragic, imaginative, and atmospheric!

The Glass Hotel is an alluring, character-driven tale that immerses you into the lives of multiple strangers as their worlds quickly unravel, intersect, collide, and are ultimately ruined when a Ponzi scheme catastrophically collapses. The prose is rich and lyrical. The characters are lonely, complex, and vulnerable. And the plot told from multiple perspectives using flashbacks and alternate realities is a hauntingly sobering tale of tragedy, crime, corruption, heartbreak, manipulation, disillusionment, morality, and the true weight of a guilty conscience. Overall, The Glass Hotel is an evocative, pensive, unique page-turner with a supernatural thread that does a beautiful job of reminding us that the choices we make often have far-reaching consequences and that life rarely unfolds as we expect it to.

    just ok

An intersting story, just wish it was a bit more fluid. The storyline hopped from here to there. Good story.

Slow Start, But Worth the Wait

The 1st sixth of the book is difficult and uninteresting. Then suddenly the book blossoms into a complex multi character story that is completely rivetting. ... a suoerb read!

    A thrilling, intelligent read

A thrilling, intelligent read. So entertaining and with a very nice pace. We meet many interesting characters who, in the end, all have integral roles in the story. I really admire how the author laid out the book. It was perfectly executed, and very nicely wrapped up, in the end. If only we really could come back to "visit" after death. But who knows? Perhaps we can. It's an intriguing thought!

    Boring!

I thought it was just OK! It was a very slow moving book and jumped around from person to person.
