    Adequate

I've read all the previous books in the series. I found this one just not as exciting as previous Ava Lee novels. I had to make myself finish this one.

    Don't waste your money

I have read all of the books in this series and since Uncle's death Hamilton has not recaptured the magic of the early novels. I actually regret spending the money on this book. Literally pages of filler, poor writing, poor characterization especially of Fai, Chen and Xu and a story line that crossed the border in boring. Ava where is your fire! To top it off the only potentially interesting plot line is started in the last few chapters and is left for the next book. Really...commercialism at its best for Hamilton's publishing house and at the worst if you are the consumer.

    Loved it

I have great admiration for Mr. Hamilton. He doesn't disappoint. This was another novel I couldn't put down. After reading all the novels, you feel a strong bond with Ava. I do like when she's in charge, while she needs her circle of associates, she is the boss.

    The action keeps going

I find in some series that the action wanes and I lose interest in the characters. Not so with Ava Lee. The story lines continue to be compelling and I can’t wait to read the next one.

    The Goddess of Yantai

Very intriguing and too many characters to follow. Other than that it must be a very interesting series.
