    Thanks for your feedback!

Thank you for writing this account. For me being of pakeha descent and growing up amongst only pakeha and westernised Maori I have strived to learn about Maori history and how our indigenous people have ended up in such a poor state. Lance helps to unravel this but in a positive way. We have to move on from the past, but not forget it, learn from it and ensure we never make the same mistakes. I only wish there were more Lance's and more of us to support these inspirational Maori leaders to achieve more to improve outcomes for ALL Maori, and our society as a whole. Have recommended this book to all my friends and family before I finished. Kia Kaha Lance and our Maori Whanau of Northland and Aeotearoa.
