    Did not disappoint

First off, I’m happy to say that it is clear in this book that Wendy Higgins is growing as an author. Her Sweet Trilogy – while I loved the story and characters – had a bit of an immature writing style. This book, however, shows her growth as an author. It was well-written. I liked the story. I was able to become captivated by it and I felt the romance. I didn’t feel there were too many surprises to be had, however. But it was a good read. I found the characters to be slightly under developed, but that didn’t stop me from connecting with them. I definitely enjoyed my ride through their journey. I am a big fan of Wendy Higgins and this book did not disappoint. There were a few things that could have been improved on (and hey maybe they will be for the finished copy), but overall I enjoyed the book. It is definitely a unlike anything Wendy Higgins has written before. I was under the impression that this was a stand alone book, but judging from the way it ended, there’s no way it is. There will be a sequel!
