  • Great finale

Yay. Finally book about Maks :-) this is final book in the Son of Texas series and it was awesome. Maks was interesting character since he appeared first time in one of the previous books and I couldnt wait to read about him. We learn all he sacrificed for the fight against Saints and how he found the love of his life in the final battle against them :-) Eden Fountaine works, not knowingly, for Saints and she goes on the run once she realizes something is going on. She meets Maks and together they run through Europe trying to figure out who are the top people. Their chemistry was great and the book moved fast. I will miss this series, thats for sure.

  • Secrets and Lies

An enthralling spy story involving the Saints, a world wide covert organization bound to rule the world no matter the cost. Maks, a spy, and Eden, a IC, run and hid while trying not only to stay alive but rid the world of the Saints. Full of hot sex, terrorism and just a plain great book.

  • Excellent Read

A great conclusion to a great series. I started this series late and so glad I decided to go back to the beginning of the story. I was Hooked!!! Like most of Donna Grant's books, they end Way to Soon. I highly recommend this series. Happy Reading.

  • Another superb series from a talented author

Ms Grant knows how to end a series. This book almost mirrors real life and the pandemic we are going thru. Almost makes you wonder if what is happening in the world today could be what she wrote about. The only reason I gave it 4 stars was I was a little disappointed in the ending. I wanted to know about the other couples from the series. But still an awesome book. It had me wanting to know how it would end.

  • Great Read, Great Series!!

This is the fifth and final book of Donna Grant's Sons of Texas series. I initially started this series because it was written by Donna Grant, and her books have never let me down, but I have to say while the series may be listed under romance, it is so so much more. If you haven't read the first 4 books, you have no idea what you are missing out on. Technically it "can" be read as a stand alone, but I wouldn't recommend it. I mean come on.... Its a SERIES. And if you don't like series because you hate waiting for the next book. Well Now is the time, because all 5 books in the series are now out. If you are looking for a book where the hero and heroine hook up on page 2, this isn't the book for you. If you are wanting action, adventure, a secret group that is trying to rule the world, heroes that aren't perfect but would give their all for the people they love and heroines who are not only intelligent, but are as ready to fight as their heroes, then this series is a must read. This final book was made for 2020 and Maks and Eden are the perfect match to go up against The Saints, with the help of the Loughmans of course. The only thing I didn't like about this book is that it is the FINAL book in the series. Fell in love with the characters in the Sons of Texas series and am sad to see the series end. I don't often reread books, but this has a permanent place in my library. Loved this series so much I even bought it in audible for those long car trips where only a really good book can get me thru. Final Note: Recommend starting when you have plenty of reading time. It a book you just can't put down!
