    Guernsey

This was written in the epistolary (letter) style - which I personally find is difficult to carry a story successfully. The book was just ok; for one of the first times, I would say that the movie is better than this book.

    Love for Guernsey

Such wonderful characters! Each one so deep and interesting. No wonder Juliet fell in love with them all!

Guernsey Literary Potato Peel Pie Society

I loved this book. At first I found it a bit hard to get into with everything being in letters but once the story picked up I couldn't put it down. Loves the character development.

Wonderful human interest story . Overall, a very uplifting treatment of a very upsetting and difficult period in our history. At first, It is challenging getting used to following a large cast of characters from their letters back and forth. However, as the story develops it becomes clear that although it is a unique ploy, it works well with this theme. A very good read.

The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society

I loved the characters in this book. It was full of warmth, humour and relationship in community. Learned a lot about the war that I didn't know.
