  • Great suspense - couldn't put it down

WOW! One of the best suspense books I have read this year. Started to read it and couldn't put it down. Vince had it all; beautiful wife, successful career, and more money than he could ever need. And yet, even the most perfect of lives can fall apart. His one big mistake, the affair he had with his intern, Layla. When she is found murdered in Central Park, his world starts to spiral out of control. Suddenly his affair, his past, and all his skeletons are being splashed on the front page of a trashy magazine, he is losing his company, and his wife can't even stand to look at him. Worse still, Vince is suspect number one in Layla's death. His real problem, how to figure out who he can trust, and who would want to Frame him. Because apparently Vince has more than one person in his life that would benefit from him going to jail. Lots of twists and turns, kept me guessing at every turn. Even when I finally figured things out, I was still shocked. I received an advance copy of this book in exchange for my honest review.

  • The Guilty Husband

This was the first book in a long time that I have forced myself to read slowly because I didn't want it to end! Loved it!

  • YOU HAVE TO READ THIS BOOK

Thank you to #NetGalley, #HQStories, and author #StephanieDeCarolis for the ARC of #TheGuiltyHusband. I was hooked from the first page! It took me just a little over 24 hours to finish this one and with good reason. The story never gets old. Man takes a wife, they fall into a stale routine, husband takes a mistress, then someone gets murdered. Vince and Nicole are happily married, or so it seemed, but if that's true, then who is Layla? The solution for a problem as big as Vince and Nicole's may not exist. Have they gone too far? It would seem that's the case when Vince is accused in the media and ends up arrested. He no longer knows who to trust. He's not even sure he can trust his childhood best friend, not to mention he is also Vince's attorney. The twisty, wriggling turns this story gave me, page after page, was the absolute best way to spend a lazy day at the beach. I can't wait to recommend this one. As always the opinions above are mine and mine alone. When you decide YOU HAVE TO READ THIS BOOK, it will be available from your favorite retailer on 3/19/21.

  • I really like this book!

Vince Taylor is a good-looking wealthy CEO of KitzTech, a software company. He married Nicole, a beautiful yoga instructor. One day detectives, Allison Barnes and Jake Lanner show up at his office investigating the death of an intern, Layla Bosch. Vince claims he didn't know Layla well and she had only been an intern for a short time. Evidence comes to light that Vince did know Layla and they did have an affair. Someone is giving away tips and things are posted in a tabloid called World View. Vince is looking worse everyday. Did he kill Layla or was it someone else? Is Layla the girl she claimed to be or was she hiding her past? This was a really good book! I devoured it in a days time. I would recommend to those who enjoy a thriller that begins from the very first page until the ending. Many thanks to NetGalley and HQ Digital for providing me an ARC in exchange for my honest review.

  • Lots of twists and turns

Vince Taylor has it all: he is CEO of KitzTech, which has made him very wealthy, and he is married to the love of his life, Nicole. The only thing missing is a baby that they both desperately want, but have so far been unable to conceive. It has started to drive a silent wedge between the two of them, this grief they share. Then one day, a new intern walks into KitzTech. Her name is Layla.... and she is trouble. Vince isn't able to resist her charms and then when he tries to break it off with her, she winds up dead. Now Vince is the prime suspect..... This is told in the voices of Vince, Layla, Nicole and the lead detective on the case, and they also do back and forth between present and before the murder. there are lots of twists and turns that will keep you guessing. If you are in the mood for a mystery that is a good, quick read than this is perfect for you.
