  • A wonderful trilogy!

I received a free copy of this book and opted to share a review. Evelina's knowledge of Arthurian legend is expansive; I like how she adhered to some of the tropes associated with the genre while sharing her point of view regarding the legends. I thought she struck a wonderful balance between old and new and repudiated the male-centric perspectives of Guinevere and Morgan le Fey. Evelina's flair for marrying old and new prose is further demonstrated in her word choice and flow, making it easy for people of all literary backgrounds to follow the plot and enjoy the story. I was happy with how the series ended. While it wasn't a grandiose or dramatic ending, it suited Guinevere and her story as told by Evelina. I recommend the trilogy to readers who enjoy Arthurian legend or a reader who is looking for an interesting historical fantasy to read.

    Thanks for your feedback!
