    Not bad at all

I can see myself re-reading portions of this book from time to time. Like Dale Carnegie's books, there is something to gain from this. Yes a lot of it can't be implemented in the real world of consequences and responsibilities, very real responsibilities, but there is something to gain. This book was beneficial to me at this point in my life, and as someone who will be in leadership in his career next year, I think this is a book where I would like to refer to excerpts of it in newsletters and conversations with colleagues. Overall, not bad!

    Interesting

This book is thoughtful and concise. Not necessarily all new ideas but definitely a best of. A great read that I will do again from time to time.

    Surprising

I don’t usually go in for the “just be happy” model so the title was deceiving. I enjoyed the book as something for me in my leadership journey.

Some good advice on rearranging life priorities

Filled with a lot of sensible advice (including the advice to ignore advice when it doesn't work for you), this book challenges our views on retirement, work and what it takes and what it means to be happy. Not a cure-all by any means, but Pasricha's ideas are certainly easy enough to try out. Recommended.
