    Mind opening

A really great read, which has helped me understand myself and others more. It draws on many different ancient philosophers and religions which I found quite eye opening. How all cultures are on the path to find happiness. I found myself taking notes at times as I thought some of it was crucial to remember. It is quite a heavy read at times and I found myself having to reread certain parts to fully. grasp.

    An important book

I had high expectations for this book and they were exceeded. Haidt does a marvelous job of interweaving the wisdom of ancient (and some not so ancient) minds and psychology. I learned much. The last three chapters aren't as strong as the others, but it is still a magnificent accomplishment and anyone would do well to dwell in this lovely book.
