  • Great afternoon read

I received a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. I was really happy reading this book. I have read many books by this author and this one is spot on. I absolutely love the characterizations and the The characters and scenes are well written and you can almost feel like you are there. If you want romance that has multi-layered characters and pitch-perfect chemistry between the heroine and the hero. This one definitely doesn’t disappoint! Arthur Wexler is a billionaire with a clause in his inheritance that requires him to be married by his next birthday. Carla Pereira is a meticulous method actress hired to play Arthur’s fiancée in front of his aunt for a one-night performance. However, what was supposed to be one night only turns into an invitation for Carla to join Arthur and his family on a luxury cruise in the Caribbean. The Hard Bargain like many of Julie Tetel Andresen's books build layers for each character that unveils throughout the process of the book. Our hero hides a protective nature behind his secretive exterior of a billionaire. Underneath the heroine’s tough personality there is a vulnerability and a need for love. I love how the change throughout the story doesn't change or make either character less but to grow together. Discovering and learning more about the other and gradual sense of falling in love. It has so many elements that it touches on. It draws in the reader and you get a sense of really being there.

    Thanks for your feedback!
