  • Hot and steamy age gap romance!

This book was an absolute delight to read, hot and steamy romance between co-workers and a dash of comedy and action. When I read the book there were times that I wanted to yell, wanted to cry and most of all wanted to laugh along with the story. Easton and Tatum’s story is an heartfelt one that tugs on all heartstrings since it discusses real life problems everyone know about or been trough. This book is hot, hilarious with their banter and realistic which for me is the most beautiful thing to read. A book that’s relatable and realistic yet still swoon worthy and so amazing that despite the horrible things that happen they come out stronger on the other side.

  • Loved This Book

This is the story of Tatum and Easton. She is a woman on the run from her abusive, soon-to-be ex-husband. This has her living in an apartment above a surf shop that Easton owns. She is also working for him. From the moment these two meet there is a instant connection and chemistry. However she hasn't really pursued anything with him because she really isn't single and I know that she has heeling to do because her husband was so horrible to her. However her crazy ex isn't quiet finished being her crazy ex and she needs Easton now more than ever. He vows to protect her and has no idea what he is getting himself in to because her ex is truly psychotic. He shows just how psycho he is when both Tatum and Easton wake up to smoke and the shop is on fire. Now they need a safe place to stay and that leads them to Easton's parents beach house until the crazy man can be caught and put behind bars. I thought this was a slow burn or a romance that really sucks you in and takes you on a ride of triumph and understanding and a woman who is very broken by the hand of a man who never should be in anyone's life ever. You guys do not want to miss this one.

  • Angsty, Finding Unexpected Love, and Healing.

✔️reverse age gap ✔️friends to lovers/forbidden vibes ✔️abusive husband ✔️forced proximity ✔️emotional moments ✔️spicy/angsty scenes So if you like any of these tropes you definitely wanna grab this book. I absolutely loved that these authors gave a accurate depiction of what an abused woman faces. There isn't the graphic details but it is eluded to at times throughout the story. So if you have any triggers be aware and decide if you can deal with it. Mostly this story in my opinion was more of a woman finally getting back her confidence and healing from a very traumatic experience to eventually find a real love. Tatum, was a character that I loved because she was healing from her past and although she kept her guard up, she still had the sincerity and heart to give to others. Yes she has triggers that cause her to second guess her actions at all times and has that "I don't deserve love or things" mentality. She has a slow build up with Easton. They both know crossing the lines from friendship to more is a huge issue but sometimes it completely worth it. Easton, is one of my favorites in this series. He's so patient and sweet when it comes to Tatum and also makes her feel as comfortable with not just him but herself when it comes to more than the friendship aspect. His dirty talking game is hot but his take control only to give Tatum the full control is off the charts hot! I love this character because he shows her how much she is worth and wants to give her what she has missed out on with her soon to be ex-husband. These two are fun to read and their banter is fun and sweet but it's actually heart warming to see them fall in love with one another. I definitely loved that you have this sweet love story mixed with the lurking soon to be ex that is completely unhinged at this point. There is this slow build up of a relationship with a threat just waiting around the corner and it has you anticipating what will happen next. It's fun to see Tristan and Piper make an appearance in the story and Tatum's sister Oakley. I love the close bonds each character has with their siblings. This is a great book to just get lost in and find that new love feelings as you read it. I highly recommend it if you love a HEA for two people who defy all odds against them. I voluntarily signed up for an ARC to give my honest opinion/review with nothing to gain from it. This book is a definite must read for anyone who loves a good angsty Kennedy Fox book. These ladies have once again given readers those angsty love moments with characters you will fall in love with also.

  • Hot!

Yes yes yes! I am a sucker for reverse age gap and Tatum and Easton brought the heat in this. It's a slow burn for sure with danger and hot chemistry. I could not put it down.

  • Easton is the perfect book boyfriend!!

The Love in Isolation series by Kennedy Fox is one of my favorites and I was so looking forward to Easton and Tatum’s story. We had first met Easton in a previous book when his brother Tristan was guarding Piper at their family beach house. Easton was smitten with Tatum from the moment they met when she stopped by his surf shop to inquire about a job. Fortunately for Easton, the job came with an apartment above his shop so he could keep an eye on the beautiful but mysterious Tatum, who had a huge crush on her sexy and much younger boss. Easton and Tatum are the perfect couple even though she felt she was too old for him. Easton made her laugh and feel safe, and Tatum understood him like no other woman ever had. Easton wanted to protect Tatum but at the same time he didn’t want her to feel that he was taking over her life. To me, they were equals at work, as friends. and as a couple getting to know each other. I found Easton very romantic, and I appreciated how he treated Tatum with love and understanding. Tatum gradually put down her shield which allowed Easton to see the young woman she was before her life fell apart. Kennedy Fox always adds a bit of mystery and suspense to all of their books and the ending holds many shocking surprises. What does the future hold for Easton and Tatum? I think it will include fun days at the beach and cozy nights on the couch with takeout and a good movie, because they are a special couple who deserve a happy ending.
