    The Hidden Women

An interesting read about two women who are closely related. The younger woman, Helena in present day, researches the older woman's (Lillian's) role in World War 2. She discovers some deeply hidden secrets beginning with Lillian's dishonourable discharge! Her curiosity is aroused. She discovers that their lives had similar problems but were solved in very different ways due to the era in which they were born.

    The Hidden Women

I really found the "inside story" interesting and have never given much thought to the women and their careers while the war was on. I can see that this story could really happen.

World War II Historical Split Timeline

The Hidden Women by Kerry Barrett is Split Timeline World War II Historical and Modern Fiction. The timelines in the story are well blended and everyone’s story is complete. I liked that the author wrote each character with age appropriate behavior. This is an interesting story of how the actions of others and our reactions can affect our entire life. Very informative book about the women who served their country in World War II. I received a complimentary copy of this book from Netgalley. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own. I appreciate the opportunity and thank the author and publisher for allowing me to read, enjoy and review this book.

    Good read and highly recommend.

I really enjoyed this book, I have wondered over the years what other work the women did during the World Wars besides working in hospitals, factories, farming and keeping the home fires burning.
