    Great book

It’s been a long time since I gave a 5 stars rating. I will probably reread it again with the same interest.

    Good

A very well written multi-generational story. Character and story line are well developed without being boring. It’s been awhile since I read a book I had a hard time putting down

    Wonderful story and wonderful Imager

Quick read I enjoyed the imagery of what was in the house. I felt I knew how the story would end early on.

    It's OK......But

Although well written with a good flow I actually found this book to be quite sad and rather depressing. Yes, we probably all have loved ones that are no longer with us that we wished we had spent more time with or understood better, but usually we have wonderful memories of them as well. The main character seems to lack those memories and has focused only her own personal embarrassments. Getting to really know your only living relative after they are gone, through the narratives of others, is sad indeed.

Thought this book was very warm & sweet. An excellent read that kept me wanting to come back for more.
