    An amazing sequel

This is an amazing sequel to The Best Laid Plans. It is truly an original, humour-filled , intelligent story that is bound to have you reading through it in one sitting! I have a new favourite author; and he's Canadian, too!

    The High Road

A worthy sequel to The Best Laid Plans, The High Road continues the parliamentary adventures of Angus McLintock and his faithful assistant, Daniel Addison. Occasionally, moving, often uproariously funny, but never, never dull. I eagerly await the inevitable third instalment.

The High Road by Terry Fallis

This is the conclusion of the first book, The Best Laid Plans. Angus and Daniel are now properly elected to the federal government and have been given the task of discovering why a bridge that crosses from Ottawa to Hull has collapsed. Angus, ever the engineer, takes the task very seriously. A thoroughly enjoyable read.

    Fun Read!

This was an absolute fun, pleasure read! Great humor, and exclusive to the Canadian citizen. Enlightening -- though not surprising -- insight into the world of Canadian politics.
