  • Cemetery, Indiana is the place to be

Oh I want to move to Cemetery, Indiana. What fun is was to read this new story by Lori Foster. I love the relationship between Yardley and her bestie Mimi. They were so different from each other but they fit. Oh and Travis was a dreamboat. He was perfect for Yardley. The town was full of great characters and I really totally loved this sweet, sexy and fun story.

  • Feel good story

What a magnificent start to a new series by Lori Foster. Set in a small town where everyone knows and watches out for each other is a unique family of two sisters and one daughter/niece. They're in the wedding planning business and recommend local vendors including a honeymoon cottage for rent to prospective couples. As with most small towns it's elders against millennials and Cemetery, IN is no different. How they learn to listen and respect the other's opinions for the betterment of the town is at the heart of the story. There's two best friends, their families, , an abandoned dog, and a new love interest to keep the reader interested. The author weaves a magical, feel-good story about commitment, everlasting love, and the importance of family: those you're born into and those you make. You want want to miss this 5 star read from Lori Foster. I can't wait for the next book! I received a free ARC eBook from Net Galley and the publisher in exchange for my honest opinions.

  • Wonderful characters, types of love

Cemetery is a quirky little town in Indiana. Betty Cemetery, a descendant of the founder of Cemetery, practically rules Cemetery, requiring every business to have Cemetery in its name. Yardley is a wedding planner and would really like to find an alternative to using Cemetery in her and other business’s names. And she lets it be known at every town meeting going head-to-head with Betty Cemetery. This is a slowly building story, with Yardley in the center. She is confident in her ability to plan a wedding, but after that she really doesn’t know how much she means to everyone, in part due to her mother and aunt always seeming to be negative around Yardley. I loved watching Yardley find confidence, especially as she starts spending time with the gorgeous brother who is paying for his sister’s wedding. And the relationships with her friends in town really showcased her thoughtfulness, her empathy, and her goodness. I received an advanced reader copy of The Honeymoon Cottage and this is my honest review.

  • Loved this story - and the town mannequin!

Such a great introduction to the small town of Cemetary, Indiana - complete with a town mannequin! I am a huge fan of Lori Foster’s and this story did not disappoint! This story centers around Yardley and Travis. Yardley is a wedding planner (with some challenging family members) and Travis is in town to help his sister Sheena plan her wedding. Throw in some interesting townspeople and an unlikely friendship between Yardley and the matriarch in town making every business include the name Cemetery and you are in for a treat! Of course, I can’t forget Mimi, who is Yardley’s best friend and working on adjusting to being a new parent with her husband. I love stories where you have a small town with a strong community and this story gives you one. There are definitely ups and downs along the way, but I loved the development of the relationships in this book, both romantic and non-romantic. I can’t wait for the next story in this series! I voluntarily read an advanced reader copy of this book and this is my honest opinion.

  • Loved this heart warming story so much.

I absolutely loved, loved, loved The Honeymoon Cottage. I had a smile on my face the entire time I read this story. I absolutely loved Yardley and Travis together. Their romance was more of a slow burn but it was just so sweet and wonderful. I also loved Mimi and how protective she was of Yardley and all the other characters in this story. This town was really fun to be a part of. Yardley really was a sweetheart and she made me love her so much. She pulled at my heartstrings with her big and forgiving heart. I highly recommend this story. A seriously very wonderful read. *I voluntarily read an advance copy of this book*
