  • The Hot Zone

This story reads like a short story. I enjoy that in these books. There is danger, romance, adventure and the continuing Jones Saga. I would have liked to have the characters a little more fleshed out, and some of the history more developed, but there was enough to make it work. Especially if you read most of the series as I do. A good, quick read. Perfect for a rainy afternoon.

  • Excellent!

Love all of her books, including all of her other pseudonyms.

  • Inhale the taste of Rainshadow

Jayne Castle (Krentz) is a giant in any of her Arcane settings. This one seamlessly weaves together her futuristic and modern-day stories. The new talents are impressive, and 142380031 useful. Prepare yourself for a good read; I couldn't put it down.

  • The Hot Zone

Next in the Rainshadow Island series. New characters Cyrus Jones and Sedona Snow meet and solve her problems. If this was a movie it would be rated at least R if not X for the gratuitous sex and violence. The porn does not advance the story and is too explicit and too frequent. I generally enjoy JAK books but I find I have to skip a lot of unnecessary verbiage.
