Synopsis

The Hound of the Baskervilles is the third of four crime novels by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle featuring the detective Sherlock Holmes. Sir Charles Baskerville, a baronet, is found lying dead among yew trees in the grounds of his country house, Baskerville Hall. The cause of death is ascribed to a heart attack. Fearing for the safety of Sir Charles's nephew and only known heir, Henry Baskerville—who was coming to London from Canada to claim his inheritance—Dr James Mortimer travels from Devon to London, and appeals for help to Sherlock Holmes. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Hound_of_the_Baskervilles

This mystery novel holds up over a 100 years later

The Hound of the Baskervilles is a vibrant, engaging book which ought to be a solid entertainment for readers. Its mystery isn’t predicated on the overuse of (often arbitrary) plot twists. Instead, it focuses on character and mood to convey a tale which is engaging both intellectually and emotionally.

    A Real Sherlock Holmes

No wonder the title is so well known. A real classic that takes your breath until the last page. A pace slower than the modern thrillers, so you can enjoy a cup of tea while reading, but the tea may get cold ... Enjoy!
