  • Loving the House of Morgan series

I have read all of Ms. Pinder’s stories in the House of Morgan series as individual books and they are a fantastic read. Ms. Pinder is an exceptional writer and she knows how to write contemporary romances that tug at your heart strings. I highly recommend this box set. Here are my reviews of books 4-6 in this series. Enjoy! Secret Wish Luke Marshall and Carolina Soliz met in college and shared a kiss and then he left. That kiss changed Caro’s life because she never forgot him. They meet years later in Miami, Caro’s day job is maid to Peter Morgan while she aspires to be a fashion designer. Luke has found out that he is really a Morgan along with his brother and sister. Isabella Morgan was banished by her husband and gave her children her maiden name to protect them from Mitch Morgan. Dr. Luke Morgan never forgot Caro and wants to rekindle their past. Like the other Morgan’s he is now rich. The revelation that Caro is the Morgan’s maid and Luke is a Morgan is a shocker for Caro. The storyline plot was well written, had well developed characters and was fast paced. It was a second chance romance blended with the secondary plots of a kidnapping and plane crash as it set the stage for other books in the series. I really enjoyed this book and strongly recommend it. Secret Dad This is the fifth book in the House of Morgan series and is Elizabeth Morgan and Rafe’s story. As with the other books in the series all the House of Morgan family members are present and part of the story. This story was very different from the rest of the series because there were a number of subplots happening throughout. Ms. Pinder weaves an intricate storyline involving two people from very diverse upbringings, a kidnapping, a plane crash, treachery and a money hungry ex. There were so many twists and turns throughout the story that I was amazed how they all came together in the end. Ms. Pinder is a gifted writer who knows how to engage her readers. Her characters were multifaceted and fully developed. Her plot highly emotional and action packed. It was also good to reconnect with other members of the Morgan family. It was a very good read that I highly recommend. Secret Heir I have read every novel in the House of Morgan series and loved everyone. Ms. Pinder continues to add exceptionally written novels to the series with her latest release “Secret Heir.’ It seems that Mitch Morgan had a 30 year love affair and 5 children from that affair. This is the first novel that showcases those children and is a wonderful addition to the series. It is the story of Mitch Morgan III a very successful banker and the oldest son from that affair and Tess Taylor a merger and takeover specialist that works for Peter Morgan the heir to the House of Morgan and Mitch’s half brother. Ms. Pinder creates unique stories that have well thought out plots and characters that are fully developed and engaging. Loved the chemistry between Mitch and Tess and the interplay between Mitch and his entire family. There were a number of twists turns and surprises I never saw coming throughout the plot that keep the reader intrigued and wondering how the story would end. Mitch and Tess had both emotional and personal issues with trust and love that needed to be resolved and how both came to terms with these issues made for a really good romance. I highly recommend this series and this latest addition to the Morgan Saga.

    Thanks for your feedback!
