    Thanks for your feedback!

An absorbing read about real people . . .

"The Last Days of Night" is a novel based on the competition between Thomas Alva Edison and George Westinghouse to install electricity lighting in the United States. Edison favoured using DC (Direct Current) while Westinghouse believed in AC (Alternating Current). The main characters in this novel are real people but some of the events have been fictionalized. Even though the ending of this story is known, at least to those familiar with this period, the pace is quick and keeps the readers interest right to the end.

    Last Days Night

An excellent read. Full of history about three very interesting men. Graham Moore describes the events leading up to and during the invention if the light bulb in an entertaining way.
