  • Fantastic

I have really been loving these Morgan brothers and Ry is no exception. Avery and Ry are so sweet together and they are each good for the other. Avery is trying to break away from her overly protective family while Ry is trying to rebuild ties with his family. They also have a bit of history to get past but they never give up on each other and in the end they find their safe place to land in each other. This is a very well done series and book and getting to know the Morgan has been so much fun. Can't wait for HW's story. I highly recommend this one.

  • Finding yourself behind the shadow

Cowboy with a Heart - - Heals from traumatic childhood memories. The Morgans' series developed by Kate Pearce is a story of a family ranch struggling to save their legacy. Twin Ry Morgan has been a man shadowing his brother HW on the rodeo circuit. Feelings of desire to find his own meaning in life Ry moves back home. The Last Good Cowboy is the third in a series but can be read as a stand-alone. Anyone looking for some feel good enjoyment should not miss what Morgantown has to offer. A copy of this book was provided by Kensington Book and author via Netgalley with no requirements for a review. I voluntarily read and my comments here are my hones opinion.

  • Contemporary Romance

The Last Good Cowboy by Kate Pearce Morgan Ranch #3 Ry is ready for a change. He has been with HW, his identical twin, from the cradle to the moment the book begins and while HW still has his sights set on the rodeo national championships Ry is ready to head home to Morgan Ranch. So that is just what he does. He settles into ranch life and work like a duck to water and realizes that he is finally doing what he should be doing when he starts having flashbacks and nightmares. One of the first people Ry meets when he gets home is Avery, the girl he had a crush on through most of school. She sustained severe injuries while competing in a rodeo event and though still not 100%, and probably never will be, feels a bit hemmed in due to overcautious parents that seem to swaddle her in protection. Avery’s job working in her parents’ hotel doesn’t give her a lot of time to spread her wings but with Ry in town her life, and his, is about to change. With major alterations in the works for the ranch, a wedding to be planned a missing mother and sister being looked for, Ry’s nightmares, Avery’s equine phobia, sibling issues in the Morgan and Hayes families, and HW’s aspirations & advertising there is a whole lot going on in this delightful third installment of the Morgan Ranch series, a series I am eager to continue reading. I am impatient to find out how HW does in the finals, wonder what might happen on the ranch, am curious about a few other Morgantown citizens and am interested in finding out what happens next. Thank you to NetGalley and Kensington Books – Zebra for the ARC – This is my honest review. 5 Stars

  • Amazing!

The Last Good Cowboy is the 3rd book in Kate Pearce's Morgan Ranch series. I am amazed at how Ms. Pearce keeps cranking out hit after hit and this story was no exception. Definitely one of my favorites. Ry and Avery were both very likable characters who both had to deal with the ghosts of their past. Very enjoyable story and a great addition to the series. Be prepared for some twists surrounding the hunt for their mother and sister. Superb story and I cannot wait to see what Ms. Pearce has in store for us next. I received a review copy from the publisher/author via NetGalley.

  • Great Read

'The Last Good Cowboy ' by Kate Pearce is book Three in the "Morgan Ranch" series. This is the story of Avery Hayes and Ry Morgan. I haven't read the previous book so for me this was a standalone book. Ry has a twin brother HW who Ry has been leaving in his shadow it seems. Ry is moving forward to be more independent and taking steps back from HW. That has lead him to return home and to connect back with Avery. Ry has ended his Rodeo Circuit and wants to work on the family ranch more. Avery has always had a crush on Ry but when she was younger and the twin boys were 18 years old a misunderstand of sorts happened. Avery thought she had kissed Ry only to find that it was HW. This has caused hurt feelings with Avery. Now in the present day Avery is trying to deal with the lost of her career after an accident. Ry has decided make a life change also with Avery by moving forward with trying to have a relationship with her. Can they move forward and get past their obstacles to be together? "My honest review is for a special copy I voluntarily read."
