  • Fantastic Reads w/Heartfelt Emotions & LOL Moments

If you are new to Julia Kent, this is a fantastic boxset that will definitely whet your appetite! The quick-witted and snappy dialogue will have you laughing (embarrassingly) out loud, the inner monologues of her characters can bring tears to your eyes at times, and the stories will leave you wanting more from the main characters. Lucky for you she wrote more to enjoy! For those who have been following Declan and Shannon McCormick (my all time favorite romance couple!) she included a delightful novella reminding us why we love this couple and everything they've gone through to be together. This line from Declan, "Every year with her is a layer of shared life that expands my existence." truly encapsulates the depth of his love for his wife. Love, Love, Love Julia and her characters!

  • Excellent read for the firsts in the Kent Universe

Outstanding selection of Julia Kent’s imaginative story telling. This set includes the first book of her Shopping series, Random series, Fluffy series, Obedient series, the newest Maine series and an all new novella in the Shopping series. I have previously read all but the Shopping for a Billionaire’s Anniversary, which is so sweet and typical Shannon and Declan fun and mishaps. Grab this set of stories. It is a excellent start to the Kent universe.

  • Declan and Shannon

These two have always been my favorite when I picked up their series’s. It was so good seeing where they are now and how much in love they still are

  • Sass and snark

Shopping for a Billionaire #1-5 Another reviewer said it, and it's worth repeating: this book was love at first read. I adore the curvy heroine and her highly dysfunctional family and friends. It's sweet, it's sexy, and it's side-splitting funny. I am completely hooked. This crazy cast of characters have earned themselves a place in my heart and I will read everything ever written about them. Fluffy (Do-Over #1) This book starts out light and silly and one of the funniest things I’ve ever read. Then it goes deeper as it digs into those angsty teenaged emotions that still plague us even as adults. Mallory is this beautifully neurotic geek girl who just resonates with my own social awkwardness. I felt an instant kinship with her and felt every one of her pains and dreams. I would have given my left arm to know what Will was thinking. But even though Mallory misinterprets a lot of it, his actions convey what he feels pretty well. I loved watching this pair spar with one another. The double entendre game in this book is strong. (I’m almost afraid of what the author’s search history looked like while putting this book together.) And after reading the teaser in the epilogue, I’m rather desperate to get my hands on the next book about this group of friends. Love You Wrong (Love You, Maine #0.5) Urk! These two are bound and determined to break my heart, and we’re still kind of only just getting to know them. From the very first words on the page, I was falling for Kellan and Rachel. These “friends” have all the comradery and spark of the best couples even though they’re mostly fighting it. That’s probably why Kell takes it so hard when everything spins out of his control, but I was giving him a solid stink-eye for some of his behavior in the end. Now that we’ve seen how it all went wrong, I’m dying to see how they’ll make it right. Random Acts of Crazy (Random #1) I kind of don’t even know what to say about this book. I kind of loved it, but at the same time, there were some things that left me scratching my head. Let me start by saying that I adore what Julia Kent does. She has a flair for romantic comedy that leaves me gasping for breath and my sides aching. This book is super funny. There’s lots of laughs and scorching hot intimate encounters in this story. It’s somewhere in the connections between our three lead characters that I got a little lost. It’s easy to see Darla’s love for her family and the guilt and obligations she feels. The brotherhood between Trevor and Joe is quite clearly laid out. I just didn’t totally feel the chemistry between Darla, Trevor, and Joe. I know it’s there. I’ve seen it in later books of the series, but here it fell a little flat. In Your Dreams (Her Billionaires #0.5) Whether you come at this story knowing everything that’s in store for Laura, Mike and Dylan or if you’re like me and have never indulged in this particular series from the author, there are lots of things to love about it. It’s told with the author’s signature heart and poignancy, as well as her sass and snark. Because several of her worlds intersect, I know some of what their future holds. Now, this book has given me an added push to start back at the beginning to see how they got there. Maliciously Obedient (Obedient #1) Shopping for a Billionaire’s Anniversary (Shopping for a Billionaire 17.5) I really should know by now that while a book in this series will leave me howling with laughter, it’s also just as likely (probably more so) to leave me choking back the tears. That’s exactly what this did. Murphy’s Law was on overdrive with Declan and Shannon, but while they were dealing with everything that could go wrong, they got introspective; reflecting on all the milestones in their relationship and all the ways they make each other better. The author has set the stage for the next unnatural disaster coming into their lives, and I can’t wait to read all about it. I mean, McCormicks camping? That just has comedy gold written all over it. I received a complimentary copy of this book from the author.
