    A magical journey of love.

The Lemon Sisters is truly Jill Shalvis best book ever. I loved this book. This was a story about love and friendship and family as well as finding yourself and letting go. You will feel as if you are there and not just reading a story. Jill Shalvis always leaves me feeling as if I were a part of that world. The journeys she ended me on through her books are amazing. Brooke and Mindy Lemon are sisters that are living completely different lives. They both grew up in Wildstone. However Mindy stayed and got married, had three beautiful children and ran a business. Brooke left everything including her boyfriend behind. After a helicopter crash that changed her life forever, Brooke suffering from PTSD, realized nothing was ever the same for her. Mindy has led a different life in Wildstone. When Mindy shows up on Brooke's doorstep suffering from a breakdown and panicking, Brooke steps in to help her sister out. Brooke and Mindy trade places and Brooke returns to Wildstone to take care of Mindy's three kids and allow Mindy to have some R&R and get herself together. Enter Garrett Brooke's ex and true love. Scorned and resentful to Brooke he tries to deny what his heart wants, however the heart wants what the hearts wants. The chemistry between Brooke and Garrett is undeniable. The love between Mindy and Linc, her husband is so heartwarming. The Lemon Sisters is truly a phenomenal book. The magic Jill Shalvis has created is beyond this world. The Lemon Sisters is not a book just about romance. The Lemon Sisters is a book of friendship, love lost and love found and family and finding yourself. The characters struggles are very realistic and relatable. Even Linc and Garret have struggles that Jill Shalvis shows her reader's with great detail. What Mindy goes through with her marriage and relationships with her children and her sister as well as finding herself are so realistic. As wives and mother's alot of us could relate. Brooke's struggles are also relatable. Just her PTSD alone as well as her OCD. I love how we got to see different characters with different struggles. I loved how OCD was an issue for more than one character and each character that suffered from OCD dealt with things differently. In this day and age things like OCD are real and it is always great when a seasoned author like Jill Shalvis writes about it. The heartache she feels and the loss she feels is just so real. I love how you, as the reader get to see that everyone has struggles. Mindy and Linc's children even struggles some. The Lemon Sisters is definitely my favorite book that Jill Shalvis has written. I felt every emotion. I cried, laughed and had heartswooning as well as heartwarming moments. From the beginning Jill Shalvis captivated my heart and soul. Her words danced off the page and right into my heart where they will forever stay. I read this in one night and have since reread it a second time. It's that good. Jill Shalvis has proven to be a phenomenal writer. The lemon Sisters is definitely a book that will forever stay in my heart.

    True Sisters!!

Loved, loved this book of sisters. Even though they have had their differences they will help each other out. Both at wits ends with their personal lives, but Brooke is ready to step up and help her sister, Mindy. Even if that means returning to Wildstone, with Mindy's three kids (which I fell in love with) and being next door to her one true love, Garrett. The only problem is, Garrett is no longer interested in Brooke, at least that is what his brain is saying. He thinks mindless sex would be ok, but soon more emotions come out. Mindy is married to a doctor with three little kids, and she is afraid her husband, Linc no longer loves her. But soon she will find out otherwise, life gets busy. Even though I wanted to strangle Mindy a few times! Loved the idea of sisters, both with second chance romance and finding each other again. As a sister, I know I can always depend on mine. Fair warning, I could not put this book down!! This is the perfect summer read, I highly recommend.

    Heartfelt Romance and Strong Relationships

Exactly what I needed this weekend. ❤️ I've been more than a little stressed this school year and after having a rough week I snuggled in with The Lemon Sisters. As always Jill Shalvis knows how to bring out all of the feels. While I have enjoyed all the books in the Wildstone series this one is my favorite (so far!). Brooke and Mindy are sisters and both are at a crossroads. Brooke is struggling after an accident and Mindy is struggling with her marriage. It was refreshing to read a romance that features an already married couple. I was surprisingly drawn to Mindy's story (I'm not married so I expected to be more drawn to Brooke) and found myself getting heavily invested in her marriage (and with her cute kids). That's not to say that Brooke's story was lacking, because it wasn't. There were some tears shed over Brooke and Garrett and their story. I really liked how things unfolded there, getting it in bits and pieces vs. the whole backstory at once. Brooke has quite a few secrets and you can feel how that is eating away at her. When the dam finally bursts it's a sense of a relief both for her, and the reader. In addition to working out things in their own lives Brooke and Mindy need to work on their sister relationship as well. They pulled apart over the years and while they're both there for each other, they're not exactly sure how best to do that at first. One of Shalvis's strengths is having strong relationships outside of the romantic interests and it really shines in The Lemon Sisters. If you love heartfelt romance with strong relationships I highly suggest The Lemon Sisters.

    The Lemon Sisters

Absolutely one of the best books I have read in a long time. I am hoping there is another one making this a series. I can't wait for Jill to write another sequel to this book. Jill is an amazing writer and I read almost every book she puts out.

This Book Is Not A Lemon

Brooke’s sister Mindy had a nervous breakdown while visiting. In a moment of weakness, Brooke offered to watch Mindy’s 3 children. They are Mason, who likes to wear girls’ clothes, Princess Millie (Will only answer to Princess Millie) and Mad Dog Maddox (He barks instead of speaking,) Brooke decided she would take the kids and watch them at their home in Wildstone. Wildstone is where Garrett, Brooke’s first love lives. Brooke broke Garrett’s heart seven years ago. Brooke needed to tell Garrett she was sorry but he was so distant. You will love finding out if Brooke would be able to get Garrett’s forgiveness. I loved this book! It is hold your stomach funny. It will charm you one minute and make you cry the next. This is one you will read more than once. I received this ARC book in exchange for a honest review.
