  • Historical Western Romance with Native American content This is a fast moving tale of a very gutsy mother Rose, looking for her daughter Lily taken from her by the Dog Hunters. They are the best there was and impossible to find. Only the White Ghost or Luke Phelan will be able to find them. Luke has a bucket load of nightmares from both the civil war prison and from his time in the Native American camp where he lost his wife and child. Rose falls for Luke but can't admit it. He is in and out of reality thinking Rose is his dead wife. The strength of purpose, goal and heart are so well written the book is too hard to put down for long. The research is apparent, the character development observable and the growing love heartfelt. Wonderful book.
