    The lost girls

I thought the second book was excellent, just as good as the first book. It played to the characters strengths in every way. I can't wait for the next instalment.

    Just gets better

Read the first and had to read the second . The characters are interesting and I am looking forward to the next book. The second installment kept me riveted and I could not put it down. The subject matter is handled in a way that makes the victim's plight real without going into hardcore details.

    Good read

Enjoyed this book, fast paced thriller that concentrates on the storyline and characters. Will definitely try another by this author.

Book 1 introduced us to Mack and Belle, Belle the driven hardworking female detective with hidden demons and a hard shell and Mack a returning detective with a wild reputation and 'work alone attitude'. These two main characters have an energy between them and as they spend more time together a closer and gentler relationship starts to grow between them. In this installment, 3 young teenaged girls have been kidnapped at precisely the time an underage sex trafficking ring is being investigated. With the murder of a young teenaged girl in a nearby marsh, Mack and Belle are invited into the case by the FBI......

    Lost girls

Once again Alexa Steele hits it out of the park, her second book in this murder mystery series about Detective Bella and Mack is both gripping and emotionally charged...I was sorry the story came to an end so quickly but can hardly wait for book number three!
