    The Lost Symbol

Like every other Dan Brown book I've read, The Lost Symbol is fast paced and never dull.

    4.5 stars

This is definitely a 4.5. I love Dan Brown's writing style, I love how he uses actual facts and combines it with a story. I admire the intensive research he makes to write his books - it keeps his novels believable. He somehow manages to gather all the facts that he needs, mixes it with myths and legends, and somehow incorporate all of that in Robert Langdon's adventures in a way that it's believable, interesting, and educational. I can't say I'm a fan of conspiracies because there's not very many books I've read that are conspiracy-based and not very many books in this genre attracts me, but if it's a Dan Brown book, I'll definitely read it without even having to look at the summary to find out what it's about. He has never failed to surprise me yet and he has never disappointed me yet. The Lost Symbol is closer to my heart than Da Vinci Code or Angels & Demons just because this book talked a lot about mind-over-matter and reality-shaping-thoughts. I am a believer of how powerful the mind is and that it affects the physical world more than we'd like to think. It might not be like telekinesis or anything like that, but powerful enough to attract positivity (not entirely sure if this is an actual word or not) or negativity in your life. But that's just me. I'd definitely recommend this books to those who enjoy conspiracies, adventures, mystery, thriller, historical fiction, or crime. I really enjoyed reading this book and I'm looking forward to Dan Brown's other books. :)

    Good book.

A little slow near the end and a great unexpected twist.

    The Lost Symbol

I really enjoyed this story covering the histories of lost symbols known and unknown. I recommend this read to anyone interested in understanding all the work gone into Ancient Mysteries and the changes enlightenment can bring to us all. God really does have a sense of humour! GIGGLES!
