    Great read

There is something elemental that draws me to India, immigration and activism. This book has it all and is written in a way you can't put it down

    Lowland

Intriguing book that covers a part of modern day Indias history that would not be known to most of us in North America. As well it is timeless in it's echoing of the devastating personal effects of uprisings and protests that are volent. These continue throughout the world and seem to be the story of our human evolution The psychological implications however are rarely addressed and the effects on individual lives are seldom explored in such a manner A very worthwhile novel
