Take a deep breath and just trust the fall

God i loved this book so much. It's definetly one o my favorite books ever. I loved Silas and Felicitys relationship and specially their journey. I found myself crying throught the book on both POV. I usually have a hard time connecting with heroines. But i connected with Felicity deeply, we are very alike, she has so many layers to her but the way Silas understood her was amazing . Most of all i loved the relistic feel on their timeline. Even though they had spent so much time apart, the time they took to get there made it even better. Your best book yet Devney Perry!

What an awesome read, filled with heart and love

4.5 Stars Wow! I loved this book! Each book of this series has just gotten better, the characters richer, the romance sweeter. I was initially uncertain about Felicity. She was somewhat of a bully in high school, a rebel and was definitely not what one would consider the sweet girl next door. She’s got a lot of history in Prescott and she left it far behind sixteen years ago. Unfortunately, time has not erased those memories and her too infrequent visits have only added to her less than stellar reputation. Silas has wanted Lis even when she was completely out of his reach. He was always there for her when they were younger but they have a painful history and now the most he can hope for is friendship. At least that’s what he tells himself. Despite the fact this couple hook up early in the book, afterwards it’s somewhat of a slow burn. They are each trying to give their relationship a chance to heal as they both grow to a place that is emotionally healthy. This was a rather angst filled read as both of these characters deal with their pasts as well as the feelings that are being stirred up again so many years later. Both of them are afraid to reach out for what they want, the fear of rejection so strong. However, once they take that step there’s no slowing down or going back. This is a fast paced read that never felt bogged down by unnecessary information. The secondary characters add to the overall picture even as they add substance to this story. When I hoard a book until the perfect, no interruptions for the whole day, read…you know I’m in love with an author. Even KA had to take a back seat to this one. I’m so excited that this author has more planned for this series. Sign me up now please! Dual POV

    Outstanding Read!!

Outstanding!! Worthy of more than 5 stars...but got to go with the rating flow. Felicity had a high school sweetheart...while loving someone else. Silas...the high school sweetheart’s best friend. When the high school sweetheart turns drug addict and ends up dead...Felicity comes back home to re-establish her roots. Silas has stayed in the area as a rancher on his family farm. Their chemistry is off the charts but there is a lot of baggage they both have to work through to get where they want to be...where they should have been all along...together. Powerful story of two hearts that are destined to be together and what they have to go through together and apart to get there! Love the series...love the book...love the author. Devney Perry is certainly top notch!!

    This series has my heart!

I absolutely loved Silas and Felicity. They have a long and complicated history, and I always love a second chance romance. Their story was emotional due to the past heartbreaks, and I really loved how they worked their way back to each other. I adore this series. The small town atmosphere is perfect and makes me feel like I'm home. The characters are all unique and interesting. I really enjoy the connections and interactions between them all. It's so well written and the kind of book that is hard to put down. Silas and Felicity have great chemistry. They are different, yet compliment each other perfectly. A wonderful story with lots of love, romance, heat and drama.

    The Lucky Heart

This was a wonderful continuation into the story of the Jamison Valley community! This story chronicled Felicity and Silas. These two had a past, but it had been a mystery to us prior as to what had happened. We got to know and understand these two, and how their earlier choices had affected them, while they got to know each other again after sixteen years apart. We also got to catch up with some other favorites in Jamison Valley! I can't wait for the next installment with Beau and Sabrina, and maybe we'll get something after that with Khloe (and Paxton?)? This was a great addition to the previous books in this series of standalones! A definite reread for me!
