Lovely story! Engaging characters! What more could I ask for? A box set would be a dream come true.

    Great book, Greater Hero.

Our hero is basically what you've come to expect (and love) about your fictional hunky brooding aristocratic Scotsmen, and at the same time nothing like it. Why? Because his "madness" is real. He's living with a syndrome that defines him, but simultaneously doesn't "disable" him from any kind of hero status. And that's what made his character so raw, real, and interesting to me. I've never read anything like him. It was truly captivating, experiencing love and life through his eyes. It made me wish there were more romance novels like this, where characters who are wired a little differently can show just as much love and passion as the rest of em (and then some ;) ). I'll definitely be looking into the other novels in this series, but something tells me this first one will stand alone as the best, because of Ian Mackenzie.
