  • Love this book set!

This is a series of 3 books. Book 1: Prue comes to work for Max, cataloging his personal library and artifacts. She falls for the masked man, and is attracted to Max. In the end, she's utterly confused between Max and the masked man. Book 2: Prue is being forced to choose between Max and Cameron. Cam is hiding from a dangerous past. Cam and Max hide their true intentions from Prue. Really good book, suspenseful and mysterious! Book 3: Prue feels betrayed on multiple levels by Max and Cameron. She seeks answers in an unconventional way. Really well written series! I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

  • Excellent Read

This series tells the story of Prue, who is a graduate student working on her doctoral dissertation. She is given the incredible opportunity to study the early journals of Ulysses S. Grant in the private library of reclusive billionaire Max at Bremly Manor. In the first book, she believes her benefactor may be insane, but she is falling in love with him. In the second book, she learns more about Max, as well as his best friend, Cam. The third book comes to a head when she realizes she is in love with them both, and they with her. The series is fan yourself hot. Prue is introduced to BDSM, and is a natural submissive. None of the books is a stand alone, and the series sold together is fantastic, so you do not have to wait from one book to the next. This is not the first Anya Summers book I have read, and it for sure will not be the last. If you are looking for a steamy billionaire gothic romance, this is a good one! • THIS IS AN AWESOME SERIES

I'm shouting this review from the rooftops yáll: THIS IS AN AWESOME SERIES you don't want to miss!!!! It includes: 1. The Man in the Mask I must say, I'm one of those geeky women who absolutely love the old Gothic romances and Anya Summers has delivered a brilliant rendition in a world built for modern times. Bremly Manor is owned by Maximillian Donovan, a brilliant, self-made billionaire. He has many historical works that are covered by cases and are only allowed to be handled with gloves and he's just added Ulysses Grant's journal to that collection. He's also invited Penelope, aka Prue, Mallone to spend two months living at the mansion while researching the journal for her dissertation. For those of us who know, and have seen, Vincent Price …. Insert his music here. There are creepy elements throughout the book. You know, that eerie feeling you can't seem to shake? Probably because Prue keeps thinking she sees him mirroring Max everywhere she turns. This book ends in a cliffhanger and I know that turns some people off, but to me, it only adds to the suspense and pull of the storyline and I love it. I can't wait for 'Torn in Two'. 2. Torn in Two 'Torn in Two' is the second book in Anya Summers' "The Manor" series. If you've read the blurb then you now know there is more than just Maximillian and his staff in the manor. All this time Prue thought she was developing feelings for a man with multiple personality quirks until the man in the mask came upon them in the library. She's shattered, in shock, and can't find a way of reconciling her feelings for not one man but two!! The men, in their infinite wisdom (eye roll here), decided they would share alternate days with Prue for two weeks giving each man an opportunity to woo her, and then she needs to make a decision about whom she wants to be with. Anya Summers has delivered such an intense, suspense-filled, emotional rollercoaster that is nicely wrapped in a BDSM experience. The characters each have so much passion and heart it's impossible not to relate to what each of them is feeling and going through. These books should be read in the order they were written with the knowledge book two ends in a cliffhanger as well. I read previously the third book is to be released in early February so there's not too long to wait in order to find out what ultimately happens. Truthfully, I think Anya Summers gets better with each series she writes. I can't wait. 3. Redeemed by Love OMG, if for any reason you haven't already started "The Manor" series by Anya Summers, you're doing yourself a disservice and need to start it immediately. Book three, 'Redeemed Love' picks up right where book two, 'Torn in Two' ends. It starts off at a run and truthfully, doesn't slow down throughout the entire book. The intensity of chemistry and scenes, the secrets that come to light, the heartbreaking decisions that could destroy this triad, the heart-pounding fear of losing a loved one, and the all-encompassing love that each of these characters has for one another pulled every bit of emotion from me and then put me back together. I'm shouting this from the rooftops: THIS IS SUCH AN AWESOME READ!!! If you haven't read this series yet because you were waiting for the boxset in order to binge, then now is your chance. Don't miss this one for any reason.

  • Prudence Finds Love

Being able to re-read this series in one book made the story that much more for me. Even though I knew what was going to happen, I still managed to be surprised by this story. Prudence goes on a journey of unexpected pleasure, intense heartbreak, and then endless love. This story is so unlike other Anya Summers books that I've read in the past, but I think it's some of her best work. Please note that I did receive an ARC of this book, and the opinions expressed in this review are my own. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
