    Twofold Investigation

I enjoyed how Dept. Q went about exploring two linked cases - one the unexplained disappearance of a financier recently returned from Camaroon, and one the enigma of an elusive 15 year old boy who fleas police but sends helpful written notes that help the police to solve the case of the missing financier. Rose seems to take on a new role, and a more cooperative demeanor . Also enjoyed all of the usual great Danish slices of life.

Great procedureal read. One of my favourites.

I have read all of the Department Q novels. This is the best one yet. A great story, well written, and sublime characters that are engaging from book to book in the series. A must read.

    Survival and Hope

Other stories by JAO have the under current of revenge which I love. But this one you just get to cheer on the good guy and his choices dreams planning. JAO gives Marco lots of obstacles to overcome which makes it suspensefull and thrilling. My favourite book of the series.
