    The Merman King

A dangerous test gives King Lucius a beautiful woman. He has watched his hunters find mates. He wants one but isn't sure the gods will bless him with all the guilt he carries. What he can do is test a discovery that may release his people from their underwater prison even as beautiful as it is. That test gifts him with a beautiful woman who would have lost her life had he not saved her and taken her back to the dome city. Is she meant for him? There is so much to this story. Big changes for the citizens. Humor that only those from the present time get. Battles. Steam. And a future no one expected. I've wanted Lucius to find a mate. He is a good guy who doesn't give himself credit. I love the new wives from the present land world. Their hunter husbands are brave and often bewildered by these strong, sometimes funny, snarky ladies. This trapped me from page one. I just planned to check it out--right read right through to THE END. I loved every word. The only problem is that I want another one really soon. I voluntarily reviewed this advanced reader copy and I have not been compensated in any way.

    Merman...Atlantes...not black and white...amazing

This was an amazing story, fine as a stand alone, however I"m addicted and want to read the other books in the series. I love the blend of the different perspective of our hero and heroine. The good and the bad, but not really black and white. The compliance and risk one has to take. The sacrifice of the one for the greater good of the many. Atoning. Love. Redemption. Definitely need to read the other books! Honest opinion from advance copy.

    I loved it

Olivette was on a yacht on the ocean serving drinks and then she was ........... well she wasn't on the ship any more. King Lucius of the Merr people has been cursed by poseidon so many centuries ago they can Hardly remember. Their curse to live at the bottom of the ocean never to see the earth or breath it's air again. To live as half man and half sea creature or merr. He had decided to be the one to test an inoculation that might let them see the surface again and breath it's air but it could just as easily kill him. While testing it he saw a women fall and had to save her. The war with the Olympians is on and who will win? Wow great story I loved the unexpected twist this story took at the end. Have to say I didn't see that one coming lol. I love the characters. It had awesome action, mystery, suspense, drama and more. I couldn't put it down and it's one of those stories I'll love to reread again and again. Don't miss it Voluntarily reviewed a copy and I honestly loved it.

Lords of the Abyss Book 6

Michelle Pillow - The Merman King (Lords of the Abyss Book 6) Finally King Lucius gets his story told. The King of Atlantes and the Mermans has become restless and pushed the envelope by going to the surface and seeing if he is able to breathe air without any repercussions. The people of Atlantes believed they would burn from being exposed. Of course it is on this expedition with his warriors that a human woman is suddenly drowning and Lucius is there to rescue her. Olivette was working as a waitress for a fancy party on a ship but suddenly finds herself drowning and on top of that being kissed by a merman so he can feed her oxygen. It takes awhile for the woman Olivette to warm up to the King’s charms but for him there is an instant attraction. There is trouble in Atlantes from a group of women trying to take power. The king and his people are to be challenged beyond their wildest dreams. This was a quick exciting read. I’ve liked the king throughout the series. The author has created an interesting special world and take on Atlantis, filled with very hot powerful mermen and how they find their mates. I was not thrilled about the way the series ended but was glad to see the king get his HEA. This series of Novellas is fun entertaining, I highly recommend reading the books in order.
